In this free video tutorial, you will learn how to make the Princess Crochet Cardigan by Polina Kraynova. Crocheting this charming cardigan will be simple and enchanting!
HOW EXACTLY DO YOU MAKE THIS CROCHET CARDIGAN?
You can make this Polina Kraynova crochet cardigan with a corner to corner crocheting. This is also known as the C2C technique and it is one of the most popular. The C2C crochet piece involves forming boxes by working from one corner to the other. As you continue to work from the corner out, the number of these squares will increase.

A lush color like a sunflower yellow or a magenta pink can give your jacket that flirty feel for your rendezvous summer adventures. Alternatively, in a chilly autumn day, slip into this cozy crochet cardigan and enjoy the sweater weather in trendy chic fashion.
The reason why the corner to corner crochet is popular is because you stitch an entire one-piece crochet. This is an alternative to making multiple crochet pieces and stitching all of them together in the end, which often interrupts the crocheting process.

How many chains to start?
It is a stitch count of 4+3. It is basically the slanted shell/c2c in the straight rows not done on the diagonal.
How can I find a copy of instructions written in English?
Where can I get a written pattern for this sweater? I do better if I have something to read, the video works if I have a problem.
What kind of yarn is used for this pattern?
What is the purpose of writing the title in English, when the pattern is in some other language ? I see others do the same to and it really tics me off ! Because you get excited to make it just to be sadly let down 😢😥😞😔
Search for it on amazon – I commented below. It’s on there for five dollars. :-/ hopefully it is legit and not stolen.

Everything in this link is in English. The video tutorial is in another language! Completely useless for English only speakers! Please do a video in English!
How do I get the video translated to English? Also is there a written pattern that is in English as well?
One more question… Why are there no replies? My guess would be that the person who is doing this link or site doesn’t speak English and therefore is not able to respond. I don’t get it though cause she had someone who was able to translate the information to English so why can’t that person translate our questions to whatever language it is that she speaks. I’m just saying that it shouldn’t be so hard to get a pattern.
Search amazon for princess crochet jacket and it’ll come up as a pattern for 5 dollars. The sizing looks to be in European so the main pattern is written in medium/large… you’d have to size down for small. Etc.
I’m going to test this out see if it is legit. Figured 5 dollars lost isn’t bad when I’ve been searching for this pattern forever. If it doesn’t work I’m going to as a coworker to help translate since my Spanish is not the best. Although it may not work the best because the video is in Portuguese and my coworker is from Columbia. Also, I apologize to the artist if someone stole your pattern and I just bought it 🙁 that was not my intent if that’s the case. I’ll credit the video / YouTube page for sure.
Before I buy the pattern, would you be willing to tell me what size yarn and hook it calls for?
Hey, Rogue Squid,
How did it go? Was the pattern you got on Amazon legit? Was it ok to follow?
Hope all was well, hope to see your Princess jacket somewhere!!
Where is the pattern?
pas en Français, très déçue
