Everyone who’s a beginner with crocheting should be able to do it using this tutorial and crochet pattern.

Strawberry Stitch Crochet Pattern

My favorite crochet and knit supplies are: Lion Brand Yarn, Clover Crochet Hook, Knitting Needles Interchangeable, Clover Needle Set, Clover Lock Ring Markers, Stainless Steel Sewing Scissors, Blocking Mats for Knitting and this amazing Handheld Steamer.

The strawberry stitch creates an adorable look and makes any project more appealing to the eye. It looks great in most any crochet project and looks even more amazing when used to make a blanket, decorations, granny squares or even crochet bags!

As you can see the from this tutorial, this pattern is pretty simple. You probably can quickly learn if you follow the pattern and video tutorials carefully.

oh, the strawberry stitch is so wonderful. i am new to this and don’t quite understand the elongated 0’s on the pattern. are they turning 0’s? on the rt. side and left side. i guess you start with red at the first..is this written down anywhere, although i want to follow along with you actually doing it . thank you so much. wow.

I sure hope you’ve figured it out by now. I believe the elongated o’s are chain stitches. So when you’ve reached the end of the row, you chain 3, turn, and begin the next row (or turn first and then chain 3…I’ve seen it done either way).

Is there a written pattern available for this? The video is somewhat helpful but without subtext or spoken instructions it’s kind of difficult to follow. I’m sure I’ll figure it out but a written pattern would be more useful. Thanks!

Beautiful to look at. Author: Written instructions are the generally accepted format for American patterns…..this is not a pattern or stitch tutorial and is misleading. Reporting.
